Telehealth Psychiatric Services
Compassionate Care for Every Condition
Mental Clarity Care provides evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions — all via secure telehealth, available statewide in Florida.
How We Help
Every patient comes with a unique history, a unique set of challenges, and a unique path forward. Razvan Gheorghe, PMHNP-BC takes time to understand yours — then works with you to build a treatment plan grounded in evidence, delivered with compassion.
Depression
You deserve to feel like yourself again.
Depression is more than feeling sad. It can drain your energy, cloud your thinking, disrupt your sleep, and make even simple tasks feel impossible. For many people, it comes in waves — periods of relative stability followed by episodes that feel impossible to climb out of.
At Mental Clarity Care, we approach depression with a thorough evaluation that looks beyond symptoms to understand contributing factors — sleep, stress, medical history, prior treatments, and more. From there, we develop a personalized medication plan designed to restore your baseline and give you the stability to engage with your life again.
How We Help
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to identify the type and severity of depression
- Evidence-based medication management, including antidepressants and mood stabilizers when appropriate
- Ongoing monitoring and dosage adjustments to optimize your response
- Coordination with your therapist or primary care provider for integrated care
Anxiety Disorders
Worry doesn't have to run your life.
Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health conditions in the United States — and among the most treatable. Whether you experience generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, or a specific phobia, the constant state of worry and hypervigilance takes a real toll on your quality of life.
We evaluate the full picture of your anxiety — its triggers, its patterns, and how it intersects with your sleep, relationships, and daily functioning. Medication, when appropriate, can significantly reduce the intensity of anxiety symptoms and help you engage more fully with therapy and life.
How We Help
- Evaluation of generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, and specific phobias
- Medication management with SSRIs, SNRIs, buspirone, or other evidence-based options
- Short-term support strategies while longer-term treatments take effect
- Referrals to therapists specializing in CBT and exposure-based therapies
Bipolar Disorder
Stability is possible — and sustainable.
Bipolar disorder involves cycles of mood episodes — from the elevated energy and impulsivity of mania or hypomania to the deep lows of depression. These cycles can be disruptive to relationships, careers, and daily life, and they often go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for years.
Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective bipolar treatment. Razvan takes a careful, thorough approach to distinguishing bipolar I, bipolar II, and cyclothymia from other mood disorders — then builds a medication regimen designed to stabilize mood over the long term, not just manage the current episode.
How We Help
- Careful diagnostic evaluation to distinguish bipolar subtypes from unipolar depression
- Mood stabilizer management, including lithium, valproate, and atypical antipsychotics
- Monitoring for medication side effects and long-term safety
- Psychoeducation on recognizing early warning signs of mood episodes
ADHD
Your brain works differently — let's work with it.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in adults often looks different from the childhood presentation most people recognize. It may show up as chronic disorganization, difficulty sustaining focus on tasks that aren't immediately engaging, impulsive decision-making, or a persistent sense of underachieving despite real effort.
ADHD is highly treatable. A thorough evaluation helps distinguish ADHD from anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders that can mimic its symptoms. When medication is appropriate, it can dramatically improve focus, follow-through, and quality of life — often in ways patients describe as transformative.
How We Help
- Comprehensive adult ADHD evaluation, including history and symptom review
- Stimulant and non-stimulant medication management tailored to your lifestyle
- Monitoring for side effects and adjustments to optimize focus without disrupting sleep or appetite
- Guidance on complementary strategies for organization and executive function
PTSD & Trauma
What happened to you doesn't have to define your future.
Post-traumatic stress disorder can develop after any experience that overwhelms your capacity to cope — not just combat or catastrophic events. Accidents, abuse, medical trauma, loss, and chronic stress can all leave lasting imprints on the nervous system, showing up as flashbacks, hypervigilance, emotional numbing, or persistent avoidance.
Medication plays an important role in PTSD treatment by reducing the intensity of intrusive symptoms and creating the neurological stability needed to engage in trauma-focused therapy. We work closely with therapists to provide integrated, coordinated care.
How We Help
- Trauma-informed psychiatric evaluation with sensitivity to your history
- FDA-approved medications for PTSD, including SSRIs and prazosin for nightmares
- Coordination with trauma-focused therapists for integrated treatment
- Ongoing monitoring and support as you progress through treatment
Schizophrenia
Consistent, expert care for complex needs.
Schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders require careful, consistent psychiatric management. Symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and negative symptoms like social withdrawal and reduced motivation can significantly impact daily functioning — but with the right treatment, many people with schizophrenia live full, meaningful lives.
Razvan provides ongoing medication management for patients with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, with a focus on finding the most effective antipsychotic regimen with the fewest side effects. We also work to ensure continuity of care and strong communication with your support network.
How We Help
- Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis of schizophrenia spectrum disorders
- Antipsychotic medication management, including both first- and second-generation options
- Monitoring for metabolic side effects and long-term health considerations
- Coordination with case managers, therapists, and family members as appropriate
OCD
The intrusive thoughts are not who you are.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterized by unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts performed to reduce the distress those thoughts cause (compulsions). OCD is often misunderstood and misdiagnosed — and it can be exhausting to live with, consuming hours of each day in rituals that provide only temporary relief.
Medication — particularly SSRIs at therapeutic doses — is a cornerstone of OCD treatment and works best in combination with exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy. We provide the medication management component and connect you with therapists who specialize in OCD treatment.
How We Help
- Accurate OCD diagnosis, distinguishing it from anxiety disorders and other conditions
- SSRI medication management at doses proven effective for OCD
- Augmentation strategies for treatment-resistant cases
- Referrals to ERP-trained therapists for combined treatment
Insomnia & Sleep Issues
Rest is not a luxury — it's a medical necessity.
Chronic insomnia — difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early — affects millions of adults and has serious consequences for mental and physical health. It is both a symptom of many psychiatric conditions and a condition in its own right, and it often requires direct treatment rather than simply addressing the underlying disorder.
We evaluate sleep issues in the context of your full psychiatric picture, identifying contributing factors such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, or medication side effects. Treatment may include sleep hygiene guidance, medication management, and coordination with sleep medicine specialists when indicated.
How We Help
- Evaluation of insomnia in the context of your full psychiatric and medical history
- Medication management with evidence-based sleep aids, avoiding habit-forming options when possible
- Identification and treatment of underlying psychiatric contributors to poor sleep
- Referrals to sleep medicine specialists for complex or treatment-resistant cases
Panic Disorder
Panic attacks are terrifying — and very treatable.
A panic attack — sudden, intense fear accompanied by racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, and a sense of impending doom — can feel like a heart attack or a complete loss of control. When panic attacks become recurrent and you begin to fear the attacks themselves, avoiding situations that might trigger them, it becomes panic disorder.
Panic disorder responds well to treatment. Medication can significantly reduce the frequency and intensity of panic attacks, and when combined with cognitive-behavioral therapy, most patients experience substantial improvement. We provide the psychiatric evaluation and medication management component of this integrated approach.
How We Help
- Evaluation to distinguish panic disorder from cardiac and other medical causes
- SSRI and SNRI medication management as first-line treatment
- Short-term support strategies during the initial treatment period
- Referrals to CBT therapists specializing in panic and agoraphobia
Grief & Adjustment
Grief is not a disorder — but sometimes it needs support.
Losing someone you love, going through a divorce, facing a serious illness, or experiencing a major life transition can trigger grief and adjustment reactions that go beyond what feels manageable. When grief becomes prolonged, or when it triggers or worsens depression and anxiety, psychiatric support can make a meaningful difference.
We provide compassionate evaluation and, when appropriate, medication support to help stabilize mood and sleep during periods of acute grief or adjustment. We also work closely with grief counselors and therapists to ensure you have the full support you need.
How We Help
- Evaluation to distinguish normal grief from complicated grief disorder and major depression
- Medication support for sleep, anxiety, and mood during acute grief periods
- Compassionate, unhurried appointments that honor the complexity of your experience
- Referrals to grief counselors and support groups in your area
Substance Use Support
Recovery is possible. You don't have to do it alone.
Substance use disorders frequently co-occur with other psychiatric conditions — depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD are all common underlying contributors. Treating the psychiatric component is often essential to sustainable recovery, and it requires a provider who understands both sides of the picture.
Mental Clarity Care provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. We take a non-judgmental, integrated approach focused on your long-term wellbeing, and we coordinate closely with addiction specialists and recovery programs as needed.
How We Help
- Evaluation of co-occurring psychiatric conditions that may be driving or worsening substance use
- Medication management for underlying depression, anxiety, ADHD, or PTSD
- Non-judgmental, integrated care that supports your recovery goals
- Coordination with addiction specialists, counselors, and recovery programs
